Quilting Retreats
The FGQG Quilt Retreat is a fun filled long weekend that you won't want to miss.
Thursday August 14 to Sunday August 17, 2025.
Thursday April 16 to Sunday April 19, 2026.

Quilting retreats are held twice a year at the Vina de Lestonnac Retreat Center in Temecula for the members of the Flying Geese Quilt Guild. The retreats are held in the spring and fall. The retreats are a wonderful, unstructured opportunity to work on your own projects, make an auction item or get a jump start on holiday items. Additionally, you will get better acquainted with other guild members. All meals are served in the dining room which is a short walking/driving distance from the classroom. Meals include lunch and dinner day 1, breakfast, lunch and dinner days 2 and 3, and brunch on Sunday. Sleeping accommodations are air conditioned, private or double rooms that are close to the classrooms. Handicap accommodations are available on request. |

The classrooms are well lit, large and air conditioned. Nearby wineries and hot air balloons are also a bonus (however, the costs and fees for these activities are not included in the retreat prices).
In addition, there are several quilt stores (see list below) and antique vendors in the area.

*As a reminder to participants, there will be a deposit required of $100 to hold your place. This deposit is non-refundable, however if you are unable to go and you are able to find a replacement for your spot, we will reimburse your deposit. Lastly, final payments will be due the first week of April and August respectively. Once again, these payments are non-refundable unless you are able to find a replacement for your space.
